Hi viewers:  It is very important to know how to write an experiment on physics, chemistry and biology.  In your text book it is written in instruction format, which you can not write in your laboratory note book or in your examination.  You have got to write in Past Tense and Passive voiceA specimen is shown in the following, – Experiment on Diffusion.

The movement of molecules of a substance (solid, gas and liquid) from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration is called diffusion.

1. Aim of the experiment
To demonstrate the process of diffusion

2. Requirements
Beaker, water, Copper sulfate crystal

3. Procedure
At first some water was taken in a beaker. A small piece of copper sulphate crystal was placed in a beaker. The beaker was kept undisturbed for some time.

4. Observation
Copper sulphate crystal, which was placed in the beaker started to go into solution. The water around the crystal turns deep blue. Slowly, the molecules of Copper sulphate went into solution. Water took an uniform blue colouration.

5. Inference
Molecules of copper sulphate gets distributed uniformly throughout the water proving their movement from a region of higher concentration to a region of lower concentration. The movement of molecules continues till the concentration become same. Molecules gradually gets distributed uniformly throughout the water resulting in a homogeneous solution.

6. Precaution
Since copper sulphate is a poisonous substance so hand must be washed after touching it

This is all about a very simple experiment on diffusion, which is written in past tense and in passive voice
